Pesto Ligure in extra virgin olive oil
The Green Pesto sauce with garlic from Frantoio Sant’Agata d’Oneglia is available both in 90 gr and 180 gr jars and it is produced only with the best traditional Ligurian ingredients such as PDO Genoese Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, fine pine nuts and PDO Parmigiano Reggiano aged for 30 months. The Ligurian Pesto from Frantoio Sant’Agata is not pasteurized and therefore it retains all the aroma and taste of authentic Genoese pesto, together with the freshness of flavors and the characteristic bright green color. As this pesto is very tasty, we recommend not salting the cooking water of pasta and diluting pesto with a couple of tablespoons of the same cooking water before use.
